Alright I'm 23 and went on a date with this wonderfully funny and cute girl on Wednesday. I phoned her tonight to ask her out on a second date, but never got a call back tonight (it is friday, i hardly ever return calls on friday either...). So if i don't get called back, do i assume that she just doesn't want to go on a second, or should i call again in a couple days? i don't wanna seem stalkerish and be one of those people that call 50 times.
Thoughts?

don't always assume the worst ok. she might be bussy with her girlfriends. she might have left her phone elsewhere. i wouldn't worry. there is no rule if she's interested in you then she would want to hear from u asap, if she's not, well cross that bridge when you get to it.

I would say wait until Monday or Tuesday and make a casual follow up call. Something like "Hey, I had a great time last week and would love to see you again". If you don't hear from her after a second call then just forget about her.
There's nothing stalkerish about making a second call as long as you aren't making a big deal about her not calling back the first time.

I think the perfect time to call back for a second date is about 3 minutes after the drop off....since you missed that, dont wait around...She's thinking the same thing you are. Wait til January 6th and ask her out for an Elvis Birthday date.....It's on the 8th. You could go shopping for vintage Elvis albums, have a peanut butter and banana sandwich picnic, then go to the local animal shelter to volunteer to walk dogs and when you get there request a 'hound dog' ... good luck....just dont wear a cape with an eagle on it

I would just wait and stay low for a while. Wait until next week to call her again. Maybe she is out of town or doing something this weekend, and couldn't return your phone call. Did she seem to have fun? If ya'll both really hit it off, then I'm sure she is just really busy and can't make it to the phone, or maybe she lost her phone. lol :D

I would go ahead and call her back either Sunday or Monday. Since you called her on Friday, she might had been out with friends for the night.

Well what did she say at the end of the first date? Did she say she would like to see you again? I would wait like a week to call her back. If it's meant to be, it will happen.

Call again in a couple of days. Maybe she didn't get her messages yet. You also don't want to seem to needy. She might need time to think it over. It takes time don't worry.

did you leave her a voicemail to call you back? as long as she knows you called then i'd wait a couple of days at least. then of course call her because who can tolerate the waiting.
