I'm living in Dubai and work as executive secretary to a C.E.O of a very big company. I'm earning around USD 30,000/- p/a.
I'm planning to move to Canada and I would like to know which city is the best choice.
Please let me know about living costs there and also the average income for a P.A or Executive Assistant.
Thanks

Living costs for Toronto range from $800/month for a one bedroom apartment all the way up to the millions for a penthouse. You can find very nice, modern condos in the downtown core and near the lake for $1200/month. As far as accommodations, you just need to do your research.
Just search the net for condo's if that's what you're interested in, or real estate in general.

Montreal!!!!wonderful ,culturally diverse, rents are lower than in Vancouver or Toronto, Living costs depend on where you live in the city but it hasn't gotten that bad yet. The night life here is one of the best people often describe Montreal like a smaller Newyork but with a European feel.
Don't listen to the person above me there is a very strong Indian community here. and that goes for many other cultures that have their communities all over the city.

Cities are expensive. Especially Toronto, and Vancouver, the rents and real estate prices have gone through the roof in the last few years. Look into a smaller city, like Kingston or Montreal. Eastern provinces are fairly cheap too.

Well as far as employment goes your best bet here would be Calgary right now. We hae the lowest unemployment in North America right now, there just arent enough workers for all the jobs. Which means all the companies are competing to make their benefits the best to reel in employees. One warning though, housing is expensive here compared to the rest of Alberta right now because so many people are moving here for work.
