covering the nose is a must......that doesn't mean squeeze it shut.............if you squeeze it shut then you'll blow out your eardrums. just simply cover it when you sneeze so that you do not spread germs to other people

Actually I have never heard that covering the nose when sneezing can cause ear damage. However it is proven that if you dont sneeze out loud or rather open your mouth when sneezing, it can cause stroke. It was seen in the news. Perhaps it is a force that comes out from internally thus causing such a problem.

It would depend. If they were still preparing the food, and the food is being put into the oven or over the skillet, I would most likely stay because any harmful bacteria would be killed because of the heat. However, if they were serving cold meats or something like that, I would tell them to go wash your hands before touching another piece of food. If they refuse, I would leave.

not just the years, i heard if u cover ur nose while sneezing, ur eyes will pop out of their sockets..well i never tried it or done, i dont think u can succeed in doing so anyway cos ur survival mode will kick in and prevent u from doing so. just like its impossible to knock urself out with ur own fist.

I know for a fact you can erupt the blood vessels in your eyes by doing this.
