FORGIVENESS AND RECONCILIATION
The scriptures advocate a large-hearted attitude of forgiveness and tolerance of others' mistakes, even when they cause offense or injury. Forgiveness is far preferable to holding a grudge, which would only fester and poison the spirit. It is preferable to exacting revenge Love Your Enemy, . Furthermore, we are advised to take responsibility for the grudges and injuries which others feel towards us.

God does that more easily that we can when we confess our sin and trust in Issa [Jesus Christ] to have cleansed us from our sin.
With that done for us, we can proceed on to forgive others more freely. When we don't do that we carry vengence in our heart and then do it phsyically.

yup .. but in sum cases it can be revenge too ...
like whe n sum ppl are constantly haitng you n passinf rude comments or even hurting u in nay way ... then first u have to forgive them or show them the rite path .. and then if they still dotn *** back .. u have the right to fight agaisnt them until they understand the truth ....
(thats only when u r on the truth )....
islam teaches us to be peace loving ...b ut on the other hand it teaches to keep the society in balance .. u cant just let the powerful have their way .. just bcoz u have to be forgivin //... it also teaches us to fight against those who fight agiasnt ur religion !!!!!!!
