I understand how liberals cannot believe in intelligent design, after they look at themselves in the mirror everyday.

They believe in intelligence, but not that it is all summed up into an intelligently designed program.

Why does the Earth and universe follow any laws of gravity or laws of thermodynamics etc? Who told anything to follow rules? Who tells a cell to perform its functions on its own?

Yeah......exactly!

Are you intelligent? Do you function by design or by accident? Is what you do and create considered intelligent?

To make DNA, try this: Use 1 die and roll a "6" a trillion times in a row. It may take you billions and billions of years to do it, but it COULD happen. You also would not be creating life.

Are you trying to tell me that something has to be intelligent to make things function properly?

When a stream runs it is because of an unknown source that human identity as gravity.

Water runs into my house because of pipes. Pipes aren't intelligent.

You made this question. You are not intellgent.

See what im getting at?

Oh and so we are supposed to believe that some invisible "god" created this instead ?? Isn't it soooo convenient that absolutely everything that is unknown in the universe or in life can be explained by 1 thing, no matter what the question: GOD. OMFG can you be any more gullible!!

Some thousands of years ago, people believed Zeus created lightning and thunder. Then science came along and no one actually believes that anymore. There are similar anecdotes throughout the history of mankind about science explaining things that we used to just say "it's god's actions". It's just a matter of time before we're able to explain your questions above in science also, and much much more. Just because we don't know for certain the answer today doesn't mean anything. Scientific knowledge advancement has been happening for 1000's of years, and will continue to happen for thousands more until no one is left to believe in the faery tale of god.

Response to asker's Comments: "To make DNA, try this: Use 1 die and roll a "6" a trillion times in a row" ????? What kind of idiotic analogy is this ? Is this how you make DNA ? By rolling a die ? This has absolutely zero bearing on the discussion of abiogenesis or evolution. Take out the die, throw in Quintillions of gallons of early earth's oceans, then we'll talk.

Men solve their problems with 2 main tools: Intelligent and creativity. Be creative, much more than you are intelligent.

The world as we know it is physically impossible. You can prove it's impossible. Therefore it must be a dream. But who's doing the dreaming? Must be someone in a dream. Etc. Ad infinitum.

"All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream"

Hey buddy, what's your I.Q.? Mine's 135-140, considered rather bright. I'm not stupid.

"Who tells a cell to perform its functions on its own?" Oh, so you're suggesting that right now "God" is ordering every single cell of every single living being in the universe to function? They have these things called nuclei, though since yours seem to lack them I guess that's hard for you to realize. What tells your body to perform its functions, since you obviously don't have a brain?

I'd like to know why those who don't believe in God are so nasty and insulting to those who do? Whats it to you if someone believes in God? You act like you are too intelligent to believe in such foolishness. Chill alittle. If you are right and there is no God, then when you die, lights out, no big deal.........but if you're wrong and you die.......you're going to wish you weren't so.....intelligent in this life.
