Well, I prayed for God to let me keep my faith, to help me in my time of need, to tell me what I needed to know, to show me what to do.
He was utterly silent. So, yeah... industrial strength earplugs topped with earmuffs, then wrapped in gauze, and with his hands on top for good measure.
Or, maybe he wants me to be an atheist.
But, the simple and most likely answer... he's just not there.

God does not answer prayers. It's a product of Free will. We are left on this earth to deal with what happens to us, and are judged on how we act. Pray is a means to gain strength of sprirt, not to treat the lord as a vending machine
