This guy that i've been with for 5 months seemed like the one for me at first until one day out of nowhere he gets mad (because I was on myspace)and threatens to hit me. Well a few more occasions like that happened for different minor reasons, until just about 3 weeks ago he got mad cuz i wanted to leave him...he locked me in the room with him and kicked me repeatedly. He told me that he has and anger problem and that he's not an abusive person because and abusive person would hit you without being angry not believing that i stilled stayed becuz i still love him even through this hugh bruise on my arm...i made him promise to get anger management and he agreed and changed his mind and said he can control himself...im hurt and confused i know i should leave but i dont wanna be with no one else...

Me and him live together...and i have tried to get away but if he's around i have no ways of getting out and once when he was gone i tried to pack up and go and he came back b4 i left but when i get the chance ima just go and leave everything behind.

He obviously doesn't love you if he abuses you. I'd say get away from him ASAP even if you love him, it will hurt at first, but not as much if you were to stay with him. If he does it again just call the cops and look to another friend for support and try to move on. Good Luck!

You need to leave for the time being, until he sorts out his issues. NO MAN should ever hit a WOMAN - never!!!
Get out before he gives you more than a bruise on your arm.

You don't sound in love, you sound obsessed...You know this is wrong, yet you choose to stay, right now you only have a bruised arm but you know he's capable of something worst...Don't stay around to find out....Get out as soon as possible...Just like him, you need help...There are people you can talk to...

LEAVE HIM GIRL!!! He says that he can control himself but the truth is he can NOT!!! I know this because of my family background!!! I'm not trying to be harsh here but I don't want you to end up in hell on earth! You guys just dated for 5 months and he is starting to hit you?! Please! WAKE UP GIRL!!! go right away to the hospital to get yourself checked out and report this to the police. you may have to get a restraining order as it appears he is not going to go away quietly. he's already shown that he is abusive and possessive (telling you want to do..) be prepared and alert, go find and take some defensive courses or lessons to prepare yourself if you are confronted with him.

i think u shud think of urself first b4 ur love for him. if he loves u he wud never hurt u. never. i dont think the guys woth it. break up with him over the phone so he wudnt have a chance to beat u and try to avoid him as much as possible
