ooooh purdy...if u want it more personal, try making it look similar to you, maybe the same hair color. or maybe the sun on the wings, you could use your zodiac sign. if u want it to be truly peronal tho, come up with your own changes. its more persoanl that way. i bet it'll turn out awesome!

I'll give you tips based on what some of my tattoo artists/ friends have told me time and again.

Your reference is an already pre-existing tattoo that is on someone's skin (it's not a drawing, photo or something in a book) , so you don't want to walk around with the same thing. It's like when two chicks walk into a party wearing the same dress on. Only for like, 60 years. (remember, permanent!)

If you like the idea of a fairy, many tat artists can easily change the pose/ hairstyle/ dress color/ etc. on the fairy. Also, if you want to hang onto the idea of moon and stars in the wings, they can substitute other styles of moon & stars. Ask to see their flash art (very important: each artist has their unique style so ask cuz you may not like their drawing style!) or more than likely they'll be happy to quickly sketch some suitable alternative on the spot.

BTW, if you're gonna get that much elaborate detail, i suggest going a bit bigger because all tattoos bleed out. That's why people have to get them redone after like, 15-20 yrs. They also fade in the sun. You don't want intricate detail to look like a blurry ink-stain after 5 yrs. or so!

Post your tattoo up when it's done and let us see!

I like it!
The colour of the clouds and the sun are a bit...... too skin colour like or something.? Its a hot fairy tho. I love the green dress... You could always get a couple of words written really small in the fairies wings or something, words that have meaning to you..... can be in a different language/ or get a symbol representing something that has meaning to you and will still be special in 60 yrs time.
Good Luck, hope it all goes well! =D

There are lots of things you could do to make it more personal. Change the garments from leaves to something that could represent you more, or just make them your favorite color. You could also change the pattern in the wings, and the hair/color hair style, to something that suits you more.

My personal opinion on this tattoo is that I don't like it that much. It's a pretty picture, but it's not something I'd want on my body. But then again, it's not my body. Good luck, hope the finished product makes you happy!

Your little fairy is adorable. I wish they'd had things like that around when I got mine.
I don't know how you can make it more personal. That's a tough question. Can't help you with that one. But congratulations on your decision to have a little body art done. Really that is what makes it personal, it's on YOUR body. Nobody else can claim any part of it. LOL.

for that tattoo to have the full detail it will have to be a big one... i'd say atleast five inches by eight inches or so. also, unless your artist is EXTREMELY talented... it's not going to look that good. you may be surprised to know how few tattooers are actually good. definitely something to think about before getting such a detailed tattoo. there are only a handfull of tattoo artists that i would let touch my skin with ink and needles.

Where are you going to put it? Make sure it is in aplace where if you wantto get dressed for a job interview or something it can be covered.

I am not a huge tatoo person, but I think the drawing is pretty.

To make it more personal you can add any nicknames you have or your own name underneath it. Like "princess" or something.

Good luck!

I would suggest changing the hair, and the face expression.
I really like the wings and her pose though. And her little leafy outfit is cute :)

I like this tattoo, but I'm not a big fan of tattoos just because you can't really erase them when you get older. And to make it more personal...hmm maybe make tinkerbell(is that who that is) look like you, kinda :) if that makes sense ;p

A fairy? No way. It reminds me of an ad I have seen in a magazine for butter. It makes no sense to me.
