If you can t get contact with them then you should go to the place where you got it from if your medicaid card expire you probably can t use it anywhere else besides your doctor so it best you get it renew as fast as you can or else you will have to pay with your own money and it will cost you a lot.

New York state medicaid needs to be re-certified every year. (It's not a secret.) If you had the paperwork and did not renew it in time, it's no one's fault but your own. If they sent you the renewal paperwork late, then you have a case to appeal. Call your social worker.

As for $95 to see the doctor. That's not outrageous. There's a doctor in Manhattan that charges $300 just to walk in the door. That's outrageous. However, if you could have paid a portion of it in cash up front, they should have offered you a discount.

Hey they dropped me off medicaid without even telling me and I was able to appeal and got back on. I suggest calling the number on your medicaid card to get assistance on this and if all else appeal and they will reimburse you on your medical costs. I had to wait a couple months for them to decide what they were going to do and had to pay up front for everything but am getting reimbursed on it all now.
As far as a doctor charging $95.00 that's terrible most doctors offices will give you a discount if they know that you don't have any insurance. Ask
