The CHURCH that CHRIST died for is HIS CHURCH (the Lord's Church). HE returned from the grave and met with the disciples. HE was seen by hundreds of people and arose into Heaven to be at GOD's Right Hand. HE will return to judge each and every one of us at a time when we least expect it. The Apostles taught and preached HIS WORD at Pentecost and at least 5000 were baptized there. HIS CHURCH was begun as a result of the Jewish People and the Romans crucifying HIM. Praise be to our Savior Jesus Christ!
