Teens Who Try To Have Babies?

What do you think about teenagers who are 14 15 16 who try to have babies. They are "soooooooo in love" with there boyfriends.

Even more. The ones who actually do have them.

It really saddens me when you go to say Xanga and read about how many there actually are. Who are so asure that there 6.50 an hour job is going to support a child.

Memphis Kitten: You are making completly no sense and doing nothing but pre judging people you do not know, and I find it completly and utterly disgusting. You do not know what kind of home they grew up in, alot grow up in great homes with great parents.

But then you go saying that they where handed everything. Makes no sense at all.

Some of you need to read the entire question. I am not speaking of those who get pregnant "accidently" I am speaking of those who run out trying to get pregnant on purpose becuase they want to play mommy and daddy.

Everyone just because a teen has a baby it's so bad and they have ruined their life. That's not always true. I had my kids very young. Not on purpose either. Just kind of happened. I never one time asked for any help. I went out and got a job and supported myself and a baby. I've worked nonstop since i was 15 to make sure that me and my kids have everything. ( Had my first daughter at 15) Now that I am an adult I have my own house (which i bought 2 months before i turned 19) I have 2 really nice cars and a great job. I have to wonderful kids that have an absolutely normal life and were never raised by my parents. They have always just been grandparents. I worked really hard because i was the one who messed up. I was never on welfare or anything. I really made something of my life. Having my kids young didn't stop me from what i wanted to do before i had kids. It just made it a little harder to get there.

Now i would never suggest that anyone ever had their kids young. I didn't have anytime to enjoy my childhood. I didn't really have one. Now if they are out there trying to get pregnant then they deserve everything they get. If it's and accident then i pray they are mature enough to handle it because it's the biggest responsibility they will ever have.

Well at that age these teenage girls know just enough to get their self's in trouble but not enough to get their self's out. They do not realize that a baby is round the clock responsibility. Most of the time when a young girl has a child her parents are usually the ones taking care of the child or the tax payers for welfare. I feel that they should have more educational classes to teach these girls what having a baby is all about. Its a a shame there are so many out there that have had a baby and all their dreams went up in smoke. But most will not listen and have to learn the hard way

I know it is a shame to see little teenagers (Babies really) with their bellies sticking out or packing a baby. Honestly it makes me wonder how dumb people are.
Parents need to stop acting like their kid is so perfect that they are not having sex when they are so they might as well put them on birth control. Why do parents let their kids run wild and do whatever?
How could any normal teenager try to get pregnant and ruin their lives?
I do not get it at all. Most teenagers babies are taken care of by the grandparents.

How hard is it for a girl to go to the health department and get on birth control for free? Or to go and buy a 75 cent condom?

I guess when it comes right down to it -deciding between ruining their lives and a 75 cent condom they ould be picking being grounded for 18 years.

Teenagers are very mixed up when emotions of a new relationship are high. We have been raised to think boyfriend, sex, marriage, and babies. Teens often do not realize that taking care of a child is a serious responsibility, they just think that babies are cute! I wish every teen that was set on having a baby was forced to take care of a 3 month old for 24 hours. That would work well!

I dont have any problem with it as i am a teen mother of a 2 month old. people say all the bads things about teens having babies, but dont think of the teens who do the right thing by supporting they child and making sure that they can look after a child. i just wish that people would look at both sides of teens having babies

It's any parents worst nightmare aside from losing a child. An out of control girl is much harder to deal with than out of control boys. With a boy that age you can put your foot in his butt and fix that in a hurry. With a teenage girl what can you do? Not much or they call the cops on you iif you touch them. You can't win this one. All you can do is pray.

When girls get pregnant accidently then i can't help but be sympathetic for a girl in a bad situation. But teens who get pregnant on purpose to keep there guys make me mad.
Especially when there are so many girls who wished that they had just waited and those ditzy girls get pregnant on purpose so they can play mommie!!!

I think they are too young they do not know what they want and they have no idea of having a baby...
I think they must get some education about it before they try it

These teens grew up without loving parents or a loving, stable home, and they are in a hurry to create one of their own.

They have never had to buy anything or support themselves, so they have no idea what it costs to have a child. They figure someone will help them. (Which we do.) It is very sad.

well all i have to say is that i'm not one of them!! and if a teenager does get pregnent i'd rather them have the baby and support it with how much money they do have then them have an abortion!!! and if u rather some poor little kid die cuz the stupid kids didn't make the right choice then ur stupid sorry!!!
