Alcohol 120%, is one software which can copy any CD/DVD irrespective on the copy protection applied on it. It's very easy to use. Not a free software.

The key is first take the image of the cd and use that image to burn a new one.
For this the one I know is Alcohol 120%. It has the ability to build the image of the cds having various type of copy protection.
Alcohol can burn cds too.

nero will copy any music cd and as for dvds go to google and look for dvd shrink

many copy protected DVD cant be copy best to buy them
