Natural resources are naturally occurring substances that are considered valuable in their relatively unmodified (natural) form.
Thus, mining, petroleum extraction, fishing, and forestry are generally considered natural-resource industries, while agriculture is not.
Natural resources are often classified into renewable and non-renewable resources. Renewable resources are generally living resources (fish, coffee, and forests, for example), which can restock (renew) themselves if they are not overharvested. Renewable resources can restock themselves and be used indefinitely if they are used sustainably. Once renewable resources are consumed at a rate that exceeds their natural rate of replacement, the standing stock will diminish and eventually run out. The rate of sustainable use of a renewable resource is determined by the replacement rate and amount of standing stock of that particular resource. Non-living renewable natural resources include soil, as well as water, wind, tides and solar radiation — compare with renewable energy.
Natural resources are natural capital converted to commodity inputs to infrastructural capital processes. They include soil, timber, oil, minerals, and other goods taken more or less as they are from the Earth.

Natural resources are naturally occurring substances that are considered valuable in their relatively unmodified (natural) form. A commodity is generally considered a natural resource when the primary activities associated with it are extraction and purification, as opposed to creation. Thus, mining, petroleum extraction, fishing, and forestry are generally considered natural-resource industries, while agriculture is not. The term was introduced to a broad audience by E.F. Schumacher in his 1970s book Small Is Beautiful.

Natural resources are things that occur naturally in the environment and which we make use of. It can be water, trees, diamonds, ores, fishes, oil and the list goes on... Some natural resources can be replaced while some takes a long time to be replaced. Water is generaed through the water cycle and is renewable. But we still have to learn to save water because if we use natural resources faster than it cna be replaced, it can turn non-renewable and would be harder to replace them again.

Natural resources are anything that occurs in nature that contributes to the well being and/or economy of a society (typically a country). These include anything up to and beyond mineral deposits, precious metals, wood from trees, plants, animals, oil, even the sun that strikes the ground is a natural resource, and yes, even people.

Our natural resources are just that. When you look at any given object or matter around you.You are looking at something
derived from natural resources. Not only natural resources but.
You are also looking at possibly thousands of people and imagine any individual within those thousands you may not know or maybe not really care about .If you look at a simple pencil .You will see many people,s lives who's lives depend upon it.You will also see the natural resources from which it came.Wood ,from trees,Lead which is an ore from the earth ,and a rubber like eraser from which comes from basically the"gasoline department
chemically thinking"It's very simple really..

natural resources are substances(solid, liquid , gas) used by man for his own needs. These resources are obtained from nature and occur naturally there. They can be renewable(solar energy) or non renewable(take time to renew like natural gas). They can be classified as biotic(animals) and abiotic(plants) as well. All natural resources occur naturally and most have an economic value. This can be mineral deposit ,water, coal, oil etc. Many natural resources are subject to depletion due to excessive unnecessary use and wastage.

natural resources are those that will one or other day vanish from earth for e.g. water, minerals, hydrocarbons. we need to use them carefully, our day to day life is dependent on that and of course sun is also a natural resource but the life of sun is million years so dont worry, but be aware while using water, hydrocarbons etc.
