like some feedback from people that have taken this medication for(weight management)
Been told that it can cause panic attacks, anxiety etc... having dealings with panic attacks some time ago.... certainly do not want to go down that road again.... but are these side affects worth it for a short period ?....

well first of all any medicine has some side effects "possible". Possible becomes the key word, so talk to youur doctor who is prescribing reductil (meridia in USA) and ask him/her if he/she has seen side effects commonly (eg myalgias common with lipitor, crestor etc). Otherwise the data I have read does not suggest benifit from medicines like over a long term though. Talk to your doctor, good luck
