Liver has a very high iron content; unfortunately, it's not the best-tasting stuff in the world to many of us. As a general rule, lean meat will have more iron that meat with lots of fat.

The meat with the highest amount of iron and some other vitamins is Polar Bear Liver, if you'd like to know.
I've heard that the nutrition content is so high that eating it may kill. Good luck getting it anyways- you may be killed trying to acquire it.

Most organ meats are high in iron. Its because of their rich blood supply. Liver is the highest of all organ meats. I have anemia and my doctor gave me a list of foods high in iron content.

When my blood iron was low, my Mama fed me chicken livers. Fried up with bacon, served over rice. It was delicious.
