Since it is orange I would suggest going to get it professionally done. They should be able to dye it to the color that you choose.

I dye my hair all the time. I blrch my hair a lot as well. I never have any problem with going to a darker color after bleaching. You should try a golden brunette or an auburn color to start out with.

Of course , when you Bleach ( strip your hair of all color) you can dye it any color you wish ... just pick the color you like most about 2-3 shade's lighter .. because if you choose a darkest brown , it will probally look black ... If you choose a dark blonde , you will probally get a medium to a dark brown.

There is a product that you can get at about any drugstore or beauty supply outlet that just removes the color. This is not a bleach, so does not lighten hair; it worked for me. Think it costs about $10.00. Then reapply desired hair color, your hair will probably grab so go to 1 shade lighter than you think you want.

You can easily change your hair color back to a darker shade, however once you bleach it the dye has a tendancy not to hold in the strands of your hair. The dye will fade much faster after applying to a bleached do.

Orange is on the way to completely blonde, when you bleach your hair, you are lifting the color out by extracting the color thru bleach. If you apply more bleach, it go true blonde. don't go dark then decide to re-lighten. If you need to condition, check out www.sebastian.com, those are the best products possible. also sold at smart style inside walmarts. but to buy the complete line, you'll have to order off line....it can retrieve most mistakes...good luck...

Yes you can dye your hair to the color you wish but it will not stay that color. It will last approximately two weeks and then start to lighten a little more each week thereafter.
You'll have to keep dying it until it grows back in.
Good luck

I had brown hair and I bleached it blond and it turned orange, so a couple of days later I put midnight brown in it and it turned out looking better than it had before I had done anything to it.

you have it backwards. You can go from light to dark, but it is harder to go from dark (especially red) to light. Make sure a PROFESSIONAL does it though. now that your hair has been bleached, the color may not absorb into your hair evenly. I've seen zebra stripes on people who tried to go from bleached to dark on their own.
