No.

The term "Allah" simply means "the [one] god", implying a single Almighty deity reminiscent of the Judeo-Christian "Yahweh" / "Jehovah". However, it is significant that "Allah" is clearly NOT a personal name, while the Hebrew Tetragrammaton clearly *IS* a personal name for Almighty God.

It's not exactly wrong to call the Almighty by the impersonal "God", just as it's not wrong to call one's offspring "Child". Faithful men of the Holy Scriptures used both "God" and a form of "Jehovah" when they referred to and addressed the Almighty. However, the term "Allah" seems intended specifically to reject Judeo-Christian spiritual heritage.

If we want a familiar and close relationship, it makes sense to use the personal name of someone we love. The Scriptures encourage us to use God's personal name.

The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) does seem to accurately pronounce the divine name. Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.

The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”, especially if you speak Hebrew. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".

(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth

(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

i'm Christian. After staring at one and all of those issues, i might desire to declare that Christianity and Judaism have an identical God (sort of), yet Islam would not. it is because of the fact the Jews have the previous testomony (Torah), which Christians settle for as actual, and God there is consistent with the God the hot testomony (which Christians settle for yet not Jews). the hot testomony is an addition to the previous. however the Koran (which claims to be an addition to the two the OT & NT) gets countless issues interior the hot & previous Testaments incorrect: for examples, it says Moses became observed with the aid of Pharaoh's spouse, not his daughter as interior the OT; Abraham virtually sacrificed his son Ishmael, the place the OT stated he virtually sacrificed Isaac; NT says Jesus is the Son of God, Koran says he's not, and so on. The Christian God is a Trinity, that's to declare he's expressed as God the daddy, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Jews, interior the previous, basically knew God the daddy. The NT introduces God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Then the Koran, that would desire to be an addition to the NT, denies the two God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. hence, collectively as Jews could be stated to worship an identical God as Christians, an identical won't be able to be stated of Moslems.

Yes. The 3 worship the same God; its just that we each call Him something different. Muslim's heritage goes back to Abraham as do the Jews & Christians. We are the only religions that do worship the same God.

In Quran (Al Baqara 136) قُولُواْ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالأسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَمَا أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ states that the core of the religions is the same for we all worship one God, The One And Only. Regardless of names, Allah, Yahweh, Jehovah

Yes. There is only one God, according to Christians, Muslims, and Jews, so to claim otherwise is absurd.

Edit: Your additional detail is based on a false premise. The Quran does not order Muslims to kill Christians and Jews. All murder of all people is prohibited in the Quran. Killing is only allowed as legitimate self-defense, or as a capital punishment if the legal courts have ordered it.

Assuming that the Islam god does exist, I do believe that he said different things that Jehovah did and he has no son, like Jehovah's Jesus. Jews worship Jehovah as well but they do not recognize Jesus as his son/Messiah so there are differences and similarities.

Muslims say that Allah is arabic (or aramaic, not sure) word for God, but 'God' is not God's name, its a title, like lord, doctor, teacher. God's name is the tetragrammaton, the 4 letter hebrew word for 'to be.'

Micah 4:5 For all the peoples, for their part, will walk each one in the name of its god; but we, for our part, shall walk in the name of Jehovah our God to time indefinite, even forever.

Men made many different names for the creator. "Jehovah" is a half-English and half-Hebrew pronunciation for the holy personal name, a proper noun, YHWH, of the GOD in the OT, but ALLAH in Quran in Arabic was originally designed by Arab pagans as a "crowed king serpent with a sword".

Christians and jews would say no. Muslims would say yes since they consider the torah and the bible to be god's failed attempts at communicating with man, with Muhammad being the final prophet.

Yes, absolutely, and they also have the same Patriarchs and Prophets since the Old Testament is the Holy Book the three religions stem from. Only difference? Only Christians believe Jesus was God's Son.
