I serioulsy thinks there way to much sexual undetones in almost all of anything on tv, yes even disney.
Im not religious either, I listen to cradle of filth and dimmu borgir, but there is no way in hell I want my child to think its ok for gays to get married, or its ok to have sex at 14, or that its cool to do drugs...all those things are stupid, or are for a right time thing, not whenever.

Tv is like a huge sewer pipe pumping waste into your home. I don't even want to have to flip past that stuff. We got rid of our tv a few years ago. However, you still can't completely avoid filth. Have you ever noticed that grocery stores place magazines (almost all of which have scantily clad women) right at eye level for kids? You can't even go out. Cover your eyes, or I'm gonna wash 'em out with soap! ; )

Family Guy also has a warning before the beginning of the show saying that it is unacceptable for anyone under the age of 17, at least on Adult Swim. It's up to the parent to restrict the kids after that. Most of these shows weren't made for kids in the first place, therefore, the creators aren't trying to sexualize young children.

That is why I as a parent do not allow my children to watch such things. They are more for the teenagers and adults to watch not for kids. They try to put those shows on the TV when children shouldn't be watching tv. I personaly have watched Simpsons a lot and I laugh at it and my mom let me watch it when it first came out and I never disrespected my mom like they do on the shows but I refuse to let my children watch shows meant for adults.

You have a real challenge here. First, you can't control what your kids are exposed to...only limit it to some extent. When they're out of your presence they come under the influence of the universe...and whatever it serves up on the platter of life. What you can do is lead an ethical life and set an example for your children. Also, work to teach them honesty and personal integrity. Teach them to believe in themselves, to trust themselves and mostly to be honest with themselves. And give them lots of love and hugs. Don't worry about what you interpret as objectionable, they will make up their own minds as the opportunities are presented...but you can teach them to trust their own instincts and you set the example for those instincts.

I totally agree w/ you. I watch cartoon network w/ my 4 year old and I can't believe all of the sexual inuendos these cartoons contain! I was watching Pink Panther w/ her one day, and he was looking at a lunch menu, and the choices were "Bong" and "Baby pipes". I couldn't believe it. I wish more cartoons were pure as well. The best ones I have found are PBS Sprout. You may have to have satellite or digital cable to get this.

It really is that bad, and that's why parents need to take responsibility and teach their kids right from wrong.

People who sexualize usually have learned their language's grammar...so you might try to do the same
