The pros of guys that are confident is that, they are often decisive and charismatic,...on the con's, they can sometimes be a jerk.

Because they want to feel safe and comfortable, knowing that their guy will not be intimidated nor stand down when he wants to do something. Besdies, what girl wants to be with a pansy? You gotta look at it from an evolutionary standpoint as well, females seek the alpha male, and confident guys seem to always be those kinds of guys, that take charge.

not all girls like confident guys. it depends on who the girl is and what her disposition is like. i think that those who are not so confident themselves like confident guys because being with them makes them feel self-assured whereas those who have lot of self-confidence like not so confident guys to balance it out so there won't be an imbalance between the pair.

if they arent overly cocky, they probably have a good reason to be confident. they trust their knowledge and are knowledgable and therefore cool.
