I tend to agree this is a control issue and he need to learn to let go and allow you to do your thing while driving. You might also point out to him, it's not very safe if he's barking orders at you since it distracts from your driving. Your lucky it hasn't caused an accident yet.
It's a matter of whether he sees you as a competent driver or not. I'm sure you know your way around where ever you live just fine. Maybe you should point that out to him as well.

It doesn't mean he doesn't like you. That's really silly. My husband does this. He would rather fall asleep at the wheel than let me drive...well, it seems that way. There's a commercial that says there are 2 types of people in this world, passengers and drivers. That is so true and literal. Some people (especially guys) have this control thing. They feel nervous being driven around (especially by a female). Don't take it personal...but let him know if it's making YOU nervous.

No, it doesn't mean that he doesn't like you anymore. Some people are just like that. I think you should let him drive, and do the same thing to him. He'll probably get the hint (unless he's really such a good driver that you can't fault him on anything). If that doesn't work, just tell him that you can't concentrate with him talking to you like that. Good night!

Honey, I have threatened my husband more than once for telling me how to drive.
We have an understanding, if he don't want to walk he is to keep his mouth shut.
I know exactly what you are talking about. Just little things..like there is a stop sign up ahead..well duh we live on this road..I know where the flippin sign is.
He likes you just fine, it's a guy thing. Understand it? NO, I'm not sure they understand it ether. I suspect it is some sort of "in charge" thing. Don't worry about it...just set him straight or it will make you a nervous wreck.

It means he has control issues and those are some big, red flags, hon.
Or he just thinks he's King-Of-All-Drivers for which your solution is to not drive. If he thinks he's the shiznit, then let his happy @$$ get behind the wheel. ;)

I don't think it anything personal, he just a "backseat driver" it has NO relation to how he feels about you. He probably does it on purpose just bug you. Next time he does it tell him to f*ck off, or tell him if doesn't like your driving, then he should drive.
Don't take that crap from him.

i highly doubt that ur boyfriend "doesn't like u anymore", unless he also treats u similarly in everyday activities. then maybe he no longer likes u, or is just really annoying. anyway, if it annoys u, just tell him to stop. and if u don't want to directly tell him to stop, tell him his actions remind u of ur brother (if u have one) or ur father because guys usually don't like to be compared to their girlfriend's father/brother/relative. i know i don't at least. hope that helps.
