Will "windows update" do it with the viruses? So that means I don't have to use any other antiviruses programs, right?

Wrong, window updates only update your system files and other things in window, it doesn't do anything with viruses. You will need a antivirus app to protect your pc from viruses. Here's the best free antivirus : http://www.free-av.com

windows update does not replace the job of an antivirus program. However there is another program called windows defender which is an anti-spyware program and still you will need an anti-virus program

Windows will not eliminate or stop viruses. You need additional software. I find that McAfee works best, but talk to a tech and see what is right for you.

Window Update is for security flaws only. You will still need a antivirus software. I would suggest www.grisoft.com (AVG) it's free for home use and does a nice job.....Thanks
