Does this sound like a good God?

9) Sex Slaves (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

10) God Assists Rape and Plunder (Zechariah 14:1-2 NAB)

if you do not believe in a faith the worst thing to do is to debate about it. i am Muslim so i am sticking up for Christians here. first of all the exodus text is true but times were different back then. the Zechariah text is false. i went on a bible site and searched
Zechariah 14:1-2 NAB but found this 1Behold, a (A)day is coming for the LORD when (B)the spoil taken from you will be divided among you.
2For I will (C)gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the (D)houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.
you should do some research before making these accusations. when i first read this question the first thing i did was research it.

Which ever book other than the bible that has made man who is righteous and godly. Even if it is a trick, at least you live at peace with your neighbors and your enemies. This is a book which teaches selflessness. But the devil simply cannot pen a book like the Bible. Why should he pen a book to predict his defeat and his own condemnation? If you don't believe it comes from God. read the book to change and transform you into some good fellow who is willing to sacrifice his life for his friends. Why not do this better than think that that is a trick from from the devil?

God was always One and is the Absolute One. He had and has no image given to us. But some has created His image and even has bring down Him to a human level. That is satanic. Otherwise original heavenly books are heavenly. People have corrupted many of them with the inclusion of their own words and writings. That is satanic.

Personally I think the devil's biggest trick is to lead men away from God by way of arrogance - tricking them into believing they are on the same level as their Creator.

Proverbs 18:17
The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and questions him.

Proverbs 21:2
All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart.

I dont believe in god, but I'll answer anyways. The bible was written thousands of years ago (or so it is said) and maybe of its testaments are out of date and immoral now. Good question though.

Convincing the world he didn't exist.

But, now that we have more information on it, that's the christian devil you are talking about. I don't follow him/her, I follow the Satanic Satan. If you don't know the difference between the two, get reading.

That is not logical. Why would he instruct people on how to fight the devil if he wrote it. You are demonstrating your superficial understanding of the book.
