God is so little that man will not be able to see it. NEVER... EVER

With a belief in God comes hope, answers, love, understanding, revelation, inspiration, optimism, joy, fellowship, fulfillment, forgiveness, faith and purpose.

Without God there is doubt, skepticism, no hope, pessimism, fear, secular humanism, more questions, lonliness, emptiness, faithlessness and a lack of purpose and direction.

Therefore I choose to believe in God.

Want to find out about God? Read "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" - Josh McDowell or "The Fingerprint of God" - Dr. Hugh Ross or "Mere Christianity" - C.S. Lewis.

Want to find out about atheism? Read "Why I Am Not A Christian" by Bertrand Russell or "Atheism: The Case Against God" - George Smith or "The Essence of Christianity" - Ludwig Feuerbach.

Examine each side carefully and thoughtfully and ask yourself - which way will better develop my character, improve my behavior and better equip me to positively contribute to society as a whole?

Nothingness and somethingness coexist, side by side. That is how the atheist maintains his POV. He/she can apply zero to a subject at will. It then takes on a life of its own. Zero is where reality ends, disconnects. It is part of the fabric of nature, having a subtle influence. Notice how the atheist always says, "This is not so", "this does not exist", or "that is not true". He/she is applying zero to a subject. One can mistake the disconnect or the end with the somethingness that is because of the coexistence factor. Such a philosophy is fragmented, incomplete, however. The atheist also sees his opinion as total, absolute, exclusive fact, and therefore tries to share his zeroes with others. That is rather kinky.

To answer your question: There is god, there is no god. Both conditions exist, and are not in contradiction. No God is part of god. God coexists with no god. They support each other. God rests upon the strength of zero(es). Zero is god's tool. You may decide that god exists, and zeroes do not, but that is only a partial truth. To say that god does not exist is also a partial truth. In order to resolve the matter you have to aknowledge both---god exists, and yet he does not.

There is also the problem that god may not be able to perceive himself fully at any particular time. In order to see himself/herself he/she must select a position to see himself from. He views himself totally, but can't view the part he is viewing himself from simultaneously. He cannot look at his own eye WITH his eye. A sword cannot cut itself, I believe is the adage. Thus, god is split into two, doomed to remain perpetually unaware of aspects of himself. He may indeed be whole, but he cannot perceive it absolutely. This is not attainable.

Nice question.

I believe that God is the creative power in the universe - the energy that powers this existence. Further, I think if God is an ocean, then we are all individual glasses of God. I do not believe in someone in the sky manipulating my life - though I can see how the bible might be interpretted into something more reasonable, more accessible - but I digress...

No God in the traditional sense, but I do believe in a power of some kind that makes this all work. I think of it as the Universe.

Peace!

If you mean is there or isn't there, nobody knows for sure.

I don't believe that God exists, but I would not say "God does not exist" because I couldn't possibly know that for a fact.
