I believe that when Jesus says that He is the way and truth and the light that He meant it. Is God big enough to be called other names and answer if someone is seeking Him and truth and willing to let Him change their character then Jesus comes. I think He may be a lot more open minded than some of the people who claim to know Him. But I can't be sure like I can that He loves us all and desires to be in our lives. I guess what I mean is I don't have all the answers and He does.

Well, let's examine that question.
First of all, do you believe that ALL paths lead to Heaven? You might be tempted to answer yes at first, but really we all know that the answer is no.
Did the Assyrians who made furniture out of the flesh of their victims get to Heaven?
Did the Canaanites who buried their children alive in the walls of the homes for good luck get to Heaven?
Did the Mayans who routinely gutted and slaughtered thousands of their neighbors get to Heaven?
Did the Chinese who used to (now they just use abortion) leave their female babies in the woods to die get to Heaven?
Did the monk who sat in the open square and light himself on fire go to Heaven?
Did Abdul the terrorist bomber who just blew up a bus load of children get to Heaven?
Not all paths lead to Heaven, that should be obvious by now. So what, then, a few paths lead? That's awfully confusing...why not just one path? One standard, one punishment, one way out of it. Ah, now that's simple.
That is the simplicity of the Gospel message.

God's size has nothing to do with the amount of paths to him.
For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

When a person accepts Jesus Christ as Saviour, and repents of all his sins, they become a new creation in Christ Jesus the Lord. It is them that open dialog between God and them take place through the Word of God.
That is how we know. And knowing this truth, there is no way anyone would trade it for anything else.><>

Yes. There is only one Ultimate Truth, but many paths to it. Not many agree with this, but perhaps in time they will see that God is bigger than the boxes that we try to put God in.

I totally agree with you. There are many paths to enlightenment - and a lot of them have a lot in common even, if different names and practices.
Your question reminds me of a quote I once heard that said "Modesty is a form of Vanity" and I think similarly Righteousness is a form of Vanity also.
Peace!

Yes, He is.
I had a friend who was Baha'i. The way he put it was, "Christians emphasize Jesus' words as 'I am THE way, THE truth, THE life.' We emphasize it as 'the WAY, the TRUTH, the LIFE.'"
I am Christian, but I believe he was right. God loves us too much to cut off half of the world from His presence.

I agree that there are certainly many types of lives that people can have. Nevertheless, there are certain things that God has commanded us to do. Baptism, for example.

And Satan assured Eve that she would NOT surely die!
God is big enough to do anything he wants to do, and he told us himself that he is the ONLY way, the ONLY truth, and the ONLY life.
Believe it ... or don't.
