I also have a friend in the Netherlands, but I usually go to the post office so that they can weigh it. If it is even just a tiny bit over the weight limit you have to pay extra so if you want to be sure that it gets there you should stop in at the post office. The first guy is right though; it should be around 84 cents (provided you are mailing it from the US).
