No it would not be the same without rainbows because that would mean that there would fore ever be no more rain.Australia is going through a drought and some places here have not seen a rainbow for 12 months.

If there are no rainbows, then one of two (or both) situations are a permanent situation:
1 - no rain or evaporation of moisture
2 - no light
3 - no rain or light
The dispertion of light through the scattered rain gives the effect of a giant prism, where the light from the sun is divided into frequency bands of light. This would not be possible without the light from the sun, nor for the sun when there is no rain.
So, no - the world would not be the same.

There will always be rainbows, as long as there is the light. Rainbows are kinda like Santa. Except they have a scientific basis. I'll leave it at that, because "rainbows" mean much more to people than light diffraction could ever explain.

Sun spectrum's are necessary for life to exist on this planet. they also promote healing .and would be missed by me more then about anything if they were gone.I actually saw a very rare moon rainbow in the clouds during a full moon.once. It was wonderful. I will never forget it.
May God give you..
For every storm, a rainbow,
for every tear, a smile,
for every care,a promise,
and a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends.
Peace.

Oh yes it would be different. No more Judy Garland singing Under The Rain Bow or children looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Well if there are no rainbows that would mean that water is no longer existing in the form of a vapor which would mean that there had been a climatic shift to the cold side. So yes it would be a very cold place.

No, because it would be a world without rainbows.
One could ask a similar question, "Will the world be the same without slugs or okra or China Blue Frost eye shadow?"
The point being...?

Don't you mean "Would" the world be the same without rainbows? Last I heard, rainbows weren't going anywhere! LOL!
And no, I don't think it would becuase we'd either be out of sunlight or rain...and that wouldn't be good, would it?
