Love, truth, honesty, respect (if earned), friendshipl..but before you can give this to you partner..you must first love yourself and be confident in who you are.
Of course, the small things matter to...like flowers, cards, and not so small..listening. Take an interest in what you partner likes to do..even if you really don't enjoy it. When listening, don't be thinking about the very next thing your going to say, or the point you trying to get across...honestly listen :)

physical health, sense of humor, independent thinking(i say that because sometimes women tend to take on too much of my personality and it gets boring) good food(i cook too) sexual chemistry, able to entertain house guest, no addictions(been in a relationship where the person had that addictive personality-not attractive) oh damn..the most important i think would be Class!

truth be told, everyone has different needs based on their own exp. personally, honesty and fidelity are # 1 and 2 on my list. why are you asking anyway? jus be who you are. if you got boyfriends who dont last then re-examine who you look to for relationships. might be the type you like has @*&..t for personality. anyway, were not much diff than women in what we look for. dont know if im off the mark, but thas what i think.

in general, it depends on the person.
but largely, men want the same long term things as women. we want to be cared for, and have fun, and be able to converse with a significant other. we want to laugh and cuddle and have sex, too.
we want to connect with the opposite sex, at least that goes for us straight folks.

im pretty sure, men likes. Understanding personality, Good Chemistry, attractiveness (sexiness), caring, lovable, and someone who's there when in need, someone who babies them.....
