In most states it's illegal to use air guns to hunt. Get a booklet for your state and look under Legal firearms for hunting. That will give you your answer. If it's legal in your state it should work for rabbits and squirrels.

Depends on the game and how good of a shot you are. Squirrels, chip-munks, etc shouldnt be a problem, although the squirrel's hide is very tought to penetrate....

First of all,,,,, BB guns and pellet guns are for target only,, Not for killing "small game" If you want to shoot small game get a shotgun!
