I found that when I praise, worship and edify Him, I truly feel His love and presense. To me there is nothing on this earth to compare that with.

Actually, the most edifying thing I ever did was reject the nonsense called religion. Talk about inner peace. No more worrying that an invisible being was watching me and judging me every single moment of my life. No more worrying that I might spend eternity in Hell. No more having to listen to sinful hypocrites pretending to be believers. No more having to spend my Sundays listening to ridiculous fairy tales and pretending they were profound words to live by. Hallelujah!!!!

If you mean the embodiment of Jesus and his teachings, I would agree with you.
His ability to provide morally useful knowledge and his example of sacrifice in the purest joy and spirit of love, is one equaled in few other places in history.
It brings peace :)
