I love how doctors go to school for years, develop complex procedures, use them to save lives, and then Christians say it is a "miracle" that someone got better. There is a great site:

Whydoesgodhateamputees.com

It asks, if God is allegedly answering prayers and "miraculously" curing sicknesses, then why doesn't he also cure amputees? It's only logical, after all. If God is willing to listen to prayers and intervene to make someone better, then why doesn't he intervene to restore amputees their limbs back? Because he doesn't exist, of course.

Yes, we should thank God.

God blesses all of us with certain skills and talents -- including heart surgeons and other medical professionals.

Instead of oversimplifying things, why don't you accept the fact that God works through other people, such as doctors?

Why don't you accept the fact that the intellect and skill needed to perform heart surgery is a gift that God bestows on certain people?

No offense, but some of you atheists just don't get it.

Like, thanks for such lousy bodies that this had to be invented by men?
Like thanking a car manufacturer for making mechanics possible (or rather, necessary). ;-)
