Nothing Good comes free. Considering the magnitude of problem you will have if your PC is infected....you should always go in for paid versions. My experience tells me there is nothing called best AV. Even the best fail at times. Somebody once told me he uses Zone Alarm and said that is the best. Mcaffee is very good but it is a hell of a problem if you want to uninstall it.
I have always used Nero and find it very user friendly.

i think i used an antivirus program quickheal2006 recently and i think it is the best but u will have to buy it....i dont know if it could be downloaded..
its also good because its regurarly updated.its worth rupees 1000..
well about the best burner i think its nero essential 7.0 ...i think it could be downloaded from www.download.com but i did not download it as i got it freee with my computer.
good thing is its easy to use and its child's play.hope this helped u .if it didn't then sorry.

I currently use PC-cillin 2006.It can save files without deleting it.I think it is the best.U can find it by googling.
The best CD burner is nero of course.I use Nero 6.6 ultra.Nero 7 shows many problems when burning.Many of my CDs lost

there are a lot of good anti-viruses. norton anti-virus is pretty good. V3Pro 2007 is also a good one. Kaspersky is aslo a good one. i recommend you don't download anti-viruses throught the internet because there is a slight chance you might get infected by a virus.

I've used Mcafee, Norton, trin micro and etc. I now have symantec corporate edition and it is by far the best antivirus software I've ever used. I've not had any problems with viruses since I got tha software. You can order it from there website which is www.symantec.com.

you cant get it for free u need to purchase the license of that anti virus ...........
cd burner is nero ..... but now the combo drives can burn cd without burners
