but why do folks get all mad when you tell them that
their god just doesn't fit with your reallity?
or if you question the existance?
when it so clear that it is all based on faith.

All have a part of the truth. My dad told me a story:
Imagine your on a beach...the sand goes as far as you can see...the water is pure blue..to your right if you look you can see a hint of a forest far away. Now bend down and pick up 2 or 3 grains of sand. Study them and see how the universe is like the sand. Now know that the beauty in this will take you your whole life to understand. At some point you want to shout I know the TRUTH. Now look there are others on beach picking up their own grains of sand.

The truth is none of us know the truth. The Truth is all the sand...the water, the trees, the sky, and the connection of all of them. We who are mortal can not see the TRUTH, but we can see a part of it.

Jesus Christ was a real person.
He died on the cross.
The tomb was empty.

If you were going to create a religion, would it be faith based
or works based. Go ahead and make your list of what people
would have to do to go to heaven.

In other words there is no way that man would have come up with
putting your faith in a person that made you look like a fool.

Actually, Jesus never told anyone their God wasn't right . . or following the path the were was wrong. All he said was "I am the truth, the life, and the way . . and no one else is coming for you" (Paraphrase of course)

John 14:5-7
5Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

I know. This is just one big battle zone tonight between them and us an us and them. Nobody is asking any thought provoking questions or getting any real answers. Its time to hit the off button because nobody is right when they're allowing chaos to reign and immaturity to dominate.TTC had some good questions. Every body wants proof where there is no proof, because the proof is under or above everyone's nose but they are either to deaf, blind or dumb to know it.

Try this one for thought:
If there is a god, then he/she/it is a superior being - yes?
That would make the rest of us inferior beings - yes?
So how arrogant of us to think that we as inferior beings have even the most remote clue in understanding what we accept as a superior being?
In that case, there CAN NOT be a right or wrong - it is impossible for our inferior brains to comprehend the concept.

Just food for thought on an age-old subject.

I think as long as everyone keeps an open mind, loves one another, and harms none, then they're all right. Bigotry, hatred and ignorance are human traits, not limited to one religion. If there is an ultimate higher power that one must appeal to, do you think that it matters what you believed as long as you were a good person who tried?
I don't care when people question my beliefs.

No religion is wrong.
Every religion teches us the way to make the society abetter palce for all. All religions teaches us to be truthfull, faithfull and respect the rights of fellow human beings and even animals and other things around us.

Atleast my religion (Islam) teches me this.

Not one single faith is 100% right, but as you know if your not with us your against us, so what I suggest is take a look at all sides an agree with what you choose to agree with. Don't pick one based upon other people's claims, you choose which one you want.

No one is right. It is impossible for there to be one true religion for all. Each person is individual, and each person's faith is individual. Even within the same religion, different followers will have different perceptions of what their faith means.
