it would really help if you told us what sort of drugs are they doing, how frequently and if their method of purchase and consumption dangerous to themselves or others.

I mean if they are shooting heroin or ice on a regular basis (or smoking crack or similar) then they are taking some pretty big risks with their health, bank balance and social lives in general. However if they are smoking the occasional joint socially or out the back after work i hardly think they have a problem. Same if the are having the occasional eccy pill of the weekend, whilst it has some risk, it is very small.

People do tend to get awfully hysterical about the whole 'drugs' thing so do your research and keep your response proportionate to the risk.

I would also ask yourself why this concerns you? Make sure your intentions are *really* good rather than jumping on this person as their lifestyle choices don't suit your values.

Honestly. Just tell them that you know they are doing this and you don't like it because you care for them. Apart from that, there is not much else you should or could do.

You cannot get someone to quit doing drugs unless the WANT to quit. No matter how hard you try it just won't work. The person who does drugs is probably aware that you know so you best bet is to just remind them that you want them around for a long time as wish they didn't do drugs.

Try asking them why they do it. Start a conversation. Be sure to mention that it worries you and you would like them to stop.ask them how can you help? You might do some resaerch before-hand alsolooking into places or suggestions on how to go about this.

your concern is very quixotic, but you need to worry about yourself as a friend's actions are there own business and they would ask if they needed you're advice. You didn't even mention what drug and why it's your business. What do you know about drugs? are you some kind of expert. etc.

If it is a relative, I really feel for for the person doing the drugs. it is a downward vortex that very few come out of. I won't give you the answer you're looking for. I will not be responsible for any harm that could come your way. Please be careful and God bless.

first confront them, and tell them that you understand and are worried about them. then tell them they need to get help, like rehab
you might want to start out with " i have been worried about you lately because..........." or something like that, but over all i think you are doing a great job, and doing the right thing!!

hope i helped a little
