It's not some kind of contest to see who goes first and it's not some kind of etiquette thing where each wants to be polite and let the other go first. If that's how you feel, then you should feel that you can tell him or else there is something wrong with your relationship. He will probably be relieved that you broke the ice.

Since you know he loves you, there's really no harm in going first - you're not going to scare him. Guys normally take a while to open up. He's hesitant because he doesn't want to say "I love you" to find out that you don't love him the same way. But you do! Good luck!

Tell him but not directly. That is, you can create a romantic atmosphere that will kep him at ease. You feeling can show that U like him to. Men are know to do the chasing, thats where the fun is. dont spoil it for him otherwise he might think U R easy.

i would prefer her saying it first but i don't want to put any pressure on her. i have been dating my girl for 3 and half months and i'm still too scared to say it i don't want her to say something like "i love hanging out with you too" i am still not sure whether she loves me or likes me and i don't want to say it because i'm still not sure what the meaning of love is. but if there is no pressure and if i kinda see it coming then i think i would prefer her to say it first. its like a feeling of security. i don't want to say it first to make her feel maybe uncomfortable and have a moment of silence. that way if she says it first i don't have to hide how i feel about her. you should say it first i think he is too scared to tell you first because he doesn't know how you will react.

tell him first...thats the best. Guys need a little bit of reassurance. if he knows u feel the same way it would be the best. If he tells u he loves u he'd go out on a limb and its uncomfortable....good luck...

im a shy guy and like when the girl occasionally takes initiative.
he seems super shy also, and couldnt bear to tell you, so he told your best friend knowing she would tell you
he basically just told you...

Go ahead and tell him , I'm sure he will be flattered and relieved that you both feel the same about each other . As a guy that's what I recommend .

well either way you look at it, the " i love you"s will be at most 3 seconds apart anyways....but I'd say you should just go for it, because it sounds like he feels the same way about you and thats all that really matters in the end, not who says it first.

Choose between you boy friend and girt friend, who is more dear to you and the boy who is interacting with two girls at a time, may not be reliable. See how genuine is your boy Friend, then tell her if you can.
