middle age man in rut and joined a date site and getting no where.need help and not stupid or ugly eather?

Question

several of my friends said to join a date site and maybe i will find someone interesting and got several hits and e-mailed them back and no answer from none , i dont think i said anything bad and i was i gentlemen and very nice . i dont realy know what they really want. they sound like somebody interesting but if i cannot chat with them how do u really know. so what should i do get a different additude and try that to see what happens. would really like some imput from women on this thanks hunterdoc

I think that there are just so many people to choose from on the internet dating sites that people get 'picky' with whom they reply to. I reckon that if they can't be bothered replying, then they are losing out. Don't let it get to you. There's someone out there for everyone, you just got to be patient.

I haven't heard anything good about Internet dating.

Maybe you should look for a real-life dating agency in your area. That way, you can meet with the consultants, and they'll be able to give perspective women a better idea of what you're like.
I have to be honest, though; I haven't actually tried this myself. It just seems like a better alternative.

If you want to continue using Internet date sites, no offense, but you probably want to try to write a little less teenagery. I wouldn't go out with a middle-aged man who abbreviates "you" as "u" and doesn't capitalize the letter "I." Sorry.

A lot of people meet people on-line. You have to realize people are busy and may not reply in your time. You never know even if you meet them in person vs. online--give it time you seem like a great guy.
