No smoking, no drinking: Am I very boring?

Question

I am fit and somehow good looking. I don't smoke or drink alcohol at all and I am happy with what I am. But, it seems that this is kinda boring for many girls around me. I go to clubs and like dancing and chattining... but I always have a feeling that it is impossible to attract a girl without a glass of wine or bear. Any suggestions?

Good for you! You are putting up a high standard! That is what makes you seem "boring", but the investment is that you will attract a person who has the same standards! Do what you do and some one shall come...if not then you go on with life until you do find one. Never lower your standards.

Not boring at all. But clubs aren't the best place to meet women. There are clubs that have no smoking policies, and "drinking" is a personal preference. If you are as selective as you present yourself to be then perhaps try an avenue where everyone doesn't smoke and drink.

Or even if you enjoy the atmosphere of the bar scene you can still enjoy the company............dancing and conversation doesn't have to include a "hook-up". You could actually become the man about town by being the guy that doesn't take girls home for obvious reasons.

Being selective is a good thing, (hence no smoke no joke) it weeds out the users and HO's........

I would love to meet a non-smoker/non drinker! And maybe many women would as well............

There are a lot of girls out there that are like you. I don't smoke or drink. I guess it depends on the setting. I think at clubs you will most likely find people who are into drinking. Maybe start looking in a different type of setting. Sometimes, I wonder myself if I appear "boring" to others because I don't drink. You just need to surround yourself around the right crowd to find what you're looking for.

Try Starbucks or Barnes & Noble. There are lots of places to meet people where there isn't the pressure to drink. Some girls have seen the bad side of alcohol and would rather not get involved with a guy who drinks socially. Some guys can be flirty and outgoing with a drink in them, but are really pathetic when they're sober. (Of course, some guys are more pathetic when they're drunk.)

Try a different venue, but don't try to be a different person. And you don't have to give up going to the club if you don't want to; just don't make the point of it to find a girl. Personally, I'm attracted to a guy's smile and that look in his eye when he's someone who really is happy just being himself.

a guy that doesnt smoke or drink is the best guy to hang with or to even have as a boyfriend. from experience, guys that drink just become violent. so, no, you are not boring just because u dont drink or smoke. u fit into the group of the hard to find boyfriends, because (especially around here) those 2 things do not attract a girl.

As you know smoking kills as does drinking. Sometimes slow painful deaths. It's not worth it!! I don't smoke or drink and I wouldn't let socializing cause me to start those addictive activities to fit in. You also know that breathing in second hand smoke is even more fatalistic than direct smoke and you're exposing yourself to lung or throat cancer every time you go into a night club where they are smoking. There are other non life threatening activities that you can attend without going into the bad areas. What about going to a gym, park, fitness trail, hiking, water sports club and so on. I don't know where you live but I know there are outdoor and indoor activities where you can meet respectable women who love themselves and won't resort to deadly activities to fit in.

Maybe your looking for them in the wrong place?
If you go to a bar you will get a certain group of people- there for a certain reason. You need to find groups of people who meet that have the same interests as you. There are lots of single groups online where you can express you are not interested in drinking.
You really won't meet the gal of your dreams in a bar- if you are a non-drinker.

Not at all-you are unique-and that's rare.
Mind you most girls that go to these clubs, majority of them are
just looking for fun and well enjoy partying..
If I were you I wouldn't worry about attracting a girl at the club-
Don't think you need to drink just to impress someone-
besides why would you want to look for a long-term or someone to date in a club?????????? -go have fun dance, and chat-but if your so fixated on having to impress someone, pretend buy a sprite and pretend its a drink;) and then buy the girl a drink she wants...she won't probably remember anyway;) good luck
