If you plan on walking around the shops inland, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Find a cheap umbrella stroller, it'll be cooler for her and easier to navigate, not to mention the space it'll save. I wouldn't bring your regular stroller.
Nothing is worse than a cranky two year old who doesn't want to walk anymore.

I guess it would depend on where you plan to be and how well your child tolerates walking. Does he/she walk a lot or remain in the stroller? Do you use a stroller a lot now? If so, you should probably bring one along.
Hawaii is a relatively small place, but most parents use strollers. The Ala Moana Shopping Center will rent you a stroller for $3/day. They are first come, first served. Your hotel might have some for rent too. Call ahead.
Good luck!

Its not a bad idea. Its often very crowded there and unless you rent a car walking is how you get everywhere (resturants, shopping) Or you might decide to take a tour where a stroller would be very helpful.
Good luck and have a good trip!!

you might get a sore back from having him on your back for a long time. i would get a cheap umbrella stroller. there will be alot of walking at the airport and depending on where you stay maybe from the parking lot to the hotel. some waikiki hotels have offsite parking. at times valet service can be so slow and you'll want to just walk over to the lot. i think a big reason to bring one would be to tote around all the stuff you'll need for a day in the sun and to carry all the bags of souvenirs you buy. hint- if you have time go to the aloha stadium swap meet- you'll get insane deals on anything you'd want to buy over there. skip the sea life park such a huge waste of time and money. most awesome restaurant -on the sand on the beach, laid back yet classy is... man i can't remember the name... it's relatively new and it's at turtle bay.

Unless you plan to stay beach front and just stay at the beach, I don't think you will need one. But if you plan to go and enjoy the shopping and the other beautiful places there, you will need one. In the heat, you don't want to have to end up carrying your baby because he or she will be getting tired of walking around.
