Like most 40yr old men who live in the basement of their parent's house.... I dont enjoy going shopping for clothes with my grandmother. She made me go out and buy some new clothes at wal mart when i had a bad bout with explosvie diarrhea (spastic/erratic bowels and sudden oily discharge). While i was trying on some new pants in the wal mart changing room i was hit by a spastic bowel attack. I cleaned up the mess with the clothes i had in the changing room and they made my grandmother purchase all the clothes that were stained and tainted. I nnow have $500 worth clothes spattered with fecal matter and most of them dont fit! what can i do to gain my grandmother's trust back ?

by the way, at what place in time did you lose your grandmothers trust, What! she can't trust you not to soil your clothes in public? if that is the case, what you need to do is start a life of your own
unless you are there because she takes care of you due to your condition. You can't make promises that it will not happen again,
The only way to resolve this problem is to give your grandmother back the $500 for her loss, apologize, not because you soiled yourself, but because you should have stayed home and let her buy your clothes. you're 40, no one can "make" you do anything
you don't wish to do!! unless like most grandparents I know, they don't want anyone in the house while they are gone.
Just hold your head up, don't feel ashamed or bent backwards over this, you'll live and so will she. next time be big enough to say 'NO!!

Now really, did you really need to go into that much detail? Gaining her trust back has nothing to do with what you supposedly did in walmart.
Your 40 yrs old, why is your grandmother telling you when to by clothes? Not only did you do as she told you but you went anyway knowing you had stomach problems!
