I think I've heard of getting your hair "stripped" i dunno, my friend did it. Why don't you try re-dyeing your hair to it's original color. Hope it helps!

The best thing to do is to find a hair color closest to your natural hair color and use it, then let the "roots" grow out (they'll be pretty much invisible, since your hair will be colored like the roots). That's what my cousin is doing now, and it looks good. She actually went back to her natural color gradually, over several colorings--she went from jet black to auburn (her natural color).

There is a way of stripping recently colored hair (for professional hair stylists only), but it's really hard on your hair. I wouldn't attempt that method.

Good luck!

If you have a good patch of newgrowth, go into a salon and see if someone can work with your hair to get it back to your natural shade. If you have too much color on it, it might be a longer process, and cost a pretty penny, but in the end when you're doing this, you should have a professional help you.

It depends on what you did to your hair.

If you dyed it darker, you could just wash it with regular soap to strip the color out. Or you could go to a hair salon to get it color stripped back to your original color. Darker hair dye is a lot harder to get out.

If you went lighter, I would suggest getting it colored by a professional colorist. When you do it yourself, the color tends to come out darker than you intended it because your hair is more porous.

you don't depends on what you used if it was a temp color with no peroxide it will eventually wash out but if it was permanent color you would have to get as close to your color as you can and let it grow
