doesnt matter who you are or how big you are or how much you ate it takes 72 hours to rid your body of alcohol. if you drink 2 days straight it takes 144 hours less sleep time and non drinking time. you do the math

If you are worried about being checked for traces of alcohol, you probably shouldn't be drinking...

But it depends how much alcohol is consumed and on a person's metabolism. Too many variables to give a time-frame.

At a website called "Beertown.org",there is a B.A.C. "calculator" that roughly estimates how much alcohol gets burned off in how much time,dependingon size/weight/metabolism, etc..... It's pretty helpful when ya wanna know what your own "legal" limit is,and how long you should wait to drive home

it takes about 2 hours for 1 12oz drink to leave your body.
that includes beer and wine--I think it is the same for the hard stuff too (not rum 151, lol)
