Well first I would definitely confirm that you are expecting because due to the situation with your Dad, you wouldn't want him to think you are and end up, not being so. I am sure he and your Mom could sure use a boost with him being diagnosed with Cancer! Ugh! So first congratulations to you about your expecting and to them, but I am sorry that your Dad is so sick. : ( Anyways, once you have confirmed it, I think it would be cute, if you can either knit or have made a pillowcase that says, Gramps and Grandma(is that what they want to be called?Do you know?)I think that would be a cute way for them to see on their pillow, heading to bed.......or have like a baby bottle, etc in their closet, getting ready for when he/she will be around and they'll care for him/her. I bet they'll be so happy!!!! As far as your being pregnant, dealing with a possible loss of your Dad, emotions, all of it, I would say, "cross that bridge when you come to it." It sounds like you don't know all of the possibilities and future yet so just enjoy each day, and make the best of it! The calmer, less high emotions, high's and low's in your pregnancy, the better it is for you and the baby but it is easier said then done when you are dealing with real life! So just take it one day at a time,,,,,,,,,,,,good luck to you! We wish you all of the best!

There are lots of cute mugs or teeshirts that say 'world's best grandma/grandpa.' That might be nice.
I am sorry your dad is so sick with cancer. He will feel better if he knows you are pregnant, and the baby will bring new life to the family.

My Brother and SIL had my parents to dinner and served Baby Back Ribs, Baby Carrots, Baby Corn and had pink and blue ribbons as napkin rings. I'm sure I'm forgetting some other food that is "Baby" named.
As for me and my geek husband, we did a website and then emailed them the URL.
