What you gotta do is suffer through 20 mins of some kind of work out every day. You think to yourself you don't possibly have the energy to endure it, and you think to yourself you'll be so tired you'll sleep for 2 hours afterwards, but you'll be surprised how much of an energy boost you get from 15-20 mins of torture first thing in the morning. And just a word from someone who has 3 kids, has 6 pack abs, and an *** to die for, that the work and confidence gained within yourself is worth every bloody horrible minute. Don't bother with crunches, they don't work. Think Officer and A Gentlemen style instead; put your hands under your hips as you lay flat on the floor and lift your legs 6 inches off the ground. If you do that for, not a specific amount of time, but only the amount of time that you can stand to do it for, 3 times a day, within 2 months you'll see your ab muscles appear. For food, so many people are misinformed....do NOT eat pasta, bread, potatoes, red meat, or anything deep fried, anything fast food, eliminate ALL of this, and you're on the way. These foods are high in saturated fat and carbs, everything you need to feed the spare tire. If it has weight to it(the food) make sure it has equal amounts of FIBRE to go with it. For example, eat a pound of broccoli, instead of a pound mashed potatoes, it has more vitamins, more water, and enough fibre to stay in your body for less than 5 or 6 hours. A pound of mashed potatoes, including the butter and salt, minus the vitamin value cut away with the skin, will stay in your gut for a couple days! Don't eat meat and potatoes together, one is carbohydrates, and one is protein, but the digestive tract knows only that it is asked to digest two types of food at the same time, and can't do it completely, so the half-rotten mixture goes through you- smell the gas!! If you restricted your diet to water, vegetables and fruit, you could eat a five ton truck's worth and feel great. Pollute your body with animal fat, deep fried food, and sugar laden crap snacks, and you'll just weigh the same as that five ton truck. So remember....no Kraft dinner, no animal fat of ANY kind, (pure meat is fine in small quantities-hamburger patty size- but NOT a hamburger patty!) if you have to use meat, drain the excess fat by putting ALL the meat into a strainer and then letting the hot water rinse it for a few minutes. Might sound gross but it fries up normal after 2 minutes back in the pan, and you lose about a POUND of fat right there. NEVER eat out. And drink your alcohol straight from the bottle, the beer has too many calories (200 a can, canadian) and pop as a mixer has too much damn suger. I'm 33, have had 3 kids by cesarean, lived on the steepest hills around, took karate for 5 years, and have survived everything life could throw at me, and unlike most women, I can proudly say that I look great naked, and it's basically because I know what to eat and what not to, and I get what I want myself....I won't ask someone else to pass me something I can get up and get for myself. I told my father once that I planned never to get fat, ever, and he told me I wouldn't have to worry about it because I didn't have a "fat" attitude. Sounds like you have a low ego because of your weight. I've been both chubby and skinny and when I was chubby, people said things that hurt me. When I lost weight, they said things. Finally, I said who cares what they think? It really does NOT matter, if you can find a way to be happy with yourself. I've had more men tell me they prefer chubby! And one lady I knew told me she preferred a man with meat on his bones. She said that she knew he didn't have AIDS! If you were told some girl likes you, talk to her. Think how she must feel telling someone that she likes you and you won't even talk to her! Forget about your weight and start talking to people. The most they can do is say no thanks. Oh well, then you move on down the line! You can't please everyone, but you can please yourself! Once you start talking to the ladies, you will get more comfortable with it and you will feel better about yourself. Chin up, and force yourself to open up.

hi i know how you feel i use to be 43 kilos 5 years ago then all of a sudden i put on 69 kilos that was a bit difference everyone would tell me to loose weight because being fat just wasn't cool so i did and i lost all that weight in 3 months and now i realise that i shouldn't have lost any weight for anyone but myself because if they didn't like me the way that i was then they really weren't my friends so if you like this girl go and tell her how you feel and if she doesn't want anything to do with you because of your weight then you dint need her anyway you sound like a nice person looks dont matter weight doesn't matter its whats inside that counts the bigger you are the bigger heart you have stay true to your self and no body else matters stay cool

Dude... seriously, if you have low self esteem, which it sounds like you do because of your weight, just start working out. But you got to be serious about it. Take work out for 20 minutes then go sit on the couch and eat cookies and drink a coke. Be real, be serious. And once you loss the weight, I think you'll find that your self esteem will be strong as well.

Don't worry about your weight unless you're wanting to diet.....Don't let your weight be a problem. My son is overweight and has all kinds of girlfriends. If you really think she likes you go ahead and start talking to her. Just BE YOURSELF! You've probably got a great personality. Show her or anyone else there's more to you than being overweight...there's a charming guy inside that's dying to get out and let it go! Good luck.

Hey, dont be afraid to talk to a girl just because you are insecure with yourself. Everyone is insecure, but everyone also must be accepting of themselves too. Somthing that i have learned is that you dont have to be confident to talk to someone you like, just as long as they think you are confident, u'll be ok! Confidenence is built on the inside and outside.
