The answers you got so far are pretty good. I think I have another suggestion too.... How about comparing the educational level of the United States with other industrialized nations'? I did a research paper on that; you'll be surprised about what you find out... Oh, by the way, it was the level of education from primary school till college. Anything below graduate school.

How about comparing the effects of differential learning patterns on student achievement within a classroon setting? How do students that "learn differently" based upon Kolb's Learning Style Inventory ultimately achieve within a traditional classroom setting? Accordingly, what accomodations could be made to assist students with different learning style enhance their achievement?
