I am a huge fan of banana daiquiri's. I hate to taste the alchool in my drinks. The Keg serves a Chococlate Monkey Daiquiri that I adore, butcan't seem to replicate at home. I know that the Chocoloate Monkey Daiquiri is creamy, and has chocolate syrup in it, but no matter what combo of banan liquor, triple sec and bacardi rum I put together all I can taste is th ebitterness of the alcohol. What am I missing? How do you make a REALLY good Banana Daiquiri?

Try adding a new twist. I hate the taste of booze too. With drinks like that I add milk and ice and put everything in a blender. It makes it creamy and takes the edge off. You could also add a half a banana and make your own creation!

1 1/2 oz light rum
1 tbsp triple sec
1 banana
1 1/2 oz lime juice
1 tsp sugar
1 cherry
Combine all ingredients (except for the cherry) with 1 cup crushed ice in an electric blender. Blend at a low speed for five seconds, then blend at a high speed until firm. Pour contents into a champagne flute, top with the cherry, and serve.

That is my cousin's favorite recipe, she serves it all the time. We found it at this site: http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink591.html
