Let cool and then slurp loudly from spoon into mouth. If nothing else those who consume soup in this manner are so caught up in rapture of the moment, they do not notice the startled and disgusted looks of others round them.

what? lips of a soup? you mean your lips to the soup? that's like not using utensils and its not proper ettiquette.i'm sure you can compress the soup to your face and slurp up....its not advised but more power to ya!
