i have braces and an overbite..it wont seem to go away ..ive had braces for 3 years now and i still have an overbite..my ortho assistant said they have to slightly bring down my upper teeth!? (dont get it)
ohh and when i close my mouth theirs a bump on my chin..what is that called?? (ok i have it because of my overbite)
does anyone have the same problem

don't worry about it, i'm sure they look great
remember, braces don't make them perfect but pretty close

Oh my gosh, haha, I have braces & an UNDERBITE. =] Haha, i've been trying to fix it since I was 9. (I'm 12 now) I had to wear head gear at night. UGH! it was really annoying. Anyways, I think that an overbite is like 10 times better than an underbite! There will be a way to cure it, dont worry, like for me. they had to like put elastics and hook it on my braces and my head gear thingy, so they were pulling the top jaw forward litterally. =]

I had an overbite as a kid, and wore braces for 4 years as well as a headgear 12 hours a day!!!! The headgear is what got rid of the overbite, but, man was it embarrassing. (so many satellite jokes!)
