Ok as a hairstylist don't do it!!! It will end up not straight and you will end up cutting off a lot more then 2 inches to fix it!! If you just got it cut in the last couple days call your stylist. She might cut the length a couple inches shorter. (Probably not if you want the layers shorter also) But if she says no and you really want it shorter, ask someone else to do it. It probably wont be straight, but it will be straighter then if you do it =) Hope this helps!

Unless you have your cosmetology license, I don't think it is a good idea to cut your own hair. Do you have any friends that are hair dressers? Maybe one of them can help you out, or, you could always go to a less expensive hair stylist. $140 for a haircut is ridiculous! You can get a good cut at a salon that only charges $10.00!

first get a different hair stylist u dont need a 140 dollar haircut to begin with, and if u have a nice haircut dont make it horrid. cutting ur hair is the last nail in ur beauty coffin.

dont do it! you must be goin to the wrong place because a hair cut should not cost that much! well known salons r not always the best place to get your cut done cause they often are expensive! as u know! do not cut yer ownhair thought especially with layers!

Most stylists will fix a bad cut at no extra charge if you tell them promptly. Be precise when you explain the problem.

don't do it yourself. you just wasted 140 dollars. go to the stylist and say "fix it." and let them know you're not about to pay again because they should have gotten it right the first time. a professional stylist is always willing to make adjustments to satisfy their clients.

I would not advise that you cut your own hair. I think you should go back to your stylist and tell her that you aren't completely happy with your hair.

call your stylist and tell them that they did not cut your hair short enough. you will be sorry if you try to cut it your self because you don't know what your doing.
