That is an interesting point. Adam ate of the fruit. Adam is responsible for his decision. Eve tempted him and so is not without blame. None of us are innocent because we each have deliberately chosen to disobey at some time. We have the opportunity to turn away from evil (repent) and serve Christ and receive forgiveness.
Genesis 2:7 tells how God made Adam, so there is no implication that they were created twice.
Thank you for sharing your interesting point.

Please read the whole story. In Genesis 3:2 The serpent, aka Satan, tempted Eve and in effect, asked her if God had said not to eat of that tree. Genesis 3:3 shows her answer. ..."God has said we shall not eat, nor shall we touch it, or we shall die" Eve knew BEFOREHAND they were not to eat the fruit of that tree. Genesis 3:6 shows that Eve took the fruit of that tree and ate it The command not to eat the fruit of this tree may have been given before Eve came into being BUT she knew the command NOT to eat the fruit of that tree BEFORE she ate it. You could look at it sort of like this: The rule to come to a stop at a red light was made way before I was born. I know that's a rule and if I run a red light when I drive, and a cop sees me, I can expect a ticket. The rule came first. I learned about it later. The penalty still stands. The situation with Eve and the rule not to eat of that tree's fruit, kind of follows the same logic.

Yes, God directly told Adam about the tree, and then Adam told Eve. You'll notice in the conversation between Eve and the snake that she actually gets the commandment wrong, she adds to it, saying "we shall surely die" if we eat of the tree, which God did NOT say, and this opened the door for the snake to be very snake-like and trick Eve into eating of the fruit.
Anyway you cut it though my dear, original sin is Adam's, and HIS alone. After Eve ate of the fruit because she was tricked, ADAM ate the fruit willfully, knowing that what he was doing was directly against God's will, hence the fall of MAN.
But honestly dear, does that make woman any better than men? I mean, Eve was TRICKED, so it is better to be stupid enough to fall for the snake's charms or better to knowingly do the wrong thing?
Well your answer is simple. They BOTH got kicked out of the Garden...

Does that mean that because you were born after Jesus Christ had resurrected, His instructions no longer applies to you?
How queer.
Yes, the instruction was given to Adam, but note in Chapter 3, what did Eve say?
2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "
Clearly, the message did reach Eve. Either Adam had repeated it to her or God repeated the message to her.
She sinned first.

I had not really thought about it... however, Eve knew that God had said that because in Genesis 3:2 Eve replied to the serpent that "WE" may eat of the fruit of the trees ....but not from the tree or TOUCH the tree in the midst of the garden.
Thanks for making me think about this!

Cute.
I think it is reasonable to assume, however, that Adam told Eve about the commandment not to eat.
It is true that Eve's blameworthiness in the story is less than Adam's. In the New Testament it is mentioned that she was deceived. Adam on the other hand knew what he was doing. And it was his sin that brought about the fall.

Look closely at who lies and who tells the truth when Eve asks about the tree and whether or not the fruit will kill her.
Genesis 3:2 "The woman said to the serpent, 'We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' ' "
Genesis 3:4 "'You will not surely die,' the serpent said to the woman. 5 'For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.'"
Also, consider the punishment for simply eating a piece of fruit when hungry and desirous to gain knowledge.
Genesis 3:6 "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it."
A grave sin indeed, one worthy of punishment against all of humanity.

That's why it says later in Genesis that death came from Adam, because he was the one that willingly ate the fruit knowing that it was wrong. It was also wrong that he listened to his wife instead of God. It doesn't make woman completely guiltless. She was thrown out of the garden too

But if you also notice Adam did NOT eat of the tree until after Eve was created, and seduced him to eat it after she was deceived.Just shows how easy it is to deceive women.
And, man has been paying for that ever since.
Sorry but I couldn't help myself.
I love women, I have been married to one for the last 35 years.
