Do women ever prefer a guy email them first so they feel
more comfortable before a guy calls them? or they don't
have to confront the guy? OR is it better to just call the girl?
Also, How many guys usually find when you do call the girl',
she does not answer and you get the machine and you have to
leave a message. D o women do this on piurpose??

But don't make online chatting or e-mailing a habbit. If you do, you might not be so comfortable confronting her about a lot of things and find doing that online a whole lot simpler and easier.
Answering your second question, some do it on purpose to show the guy they're not interested. But most of the times, it just happens and she'll most probably call back. =P
