I became mute a couple years ago when I was 17 due to a brain tumor. I'll have to go against the stream here and say that, as a lesbian, I've observed the opposite: women seem to be more picky about their partner being "able-bodied" than do men. I have a number of "friends" who ditched me after I became mute, being embarrassed to converse with my electronic voice in public. Most of these were my female friends. On the other hand, most of my male friends didn't mind it and stuck around. (Of course, though, I'm talking about friendship here rather than dating/marriage, which may garner entirely different gendered reactions.) Also, I've observed that although women in general may be more "reluctant" to admit they would not consider a disabled partner, they are just as prone as men to reject a disabled partner (eg. telling their date that they don't mind that they're in a wheelchair, but when their date calls for a second date, they turn it down.)

No. Disabled men should be carted off to some island some where. NOT! What exactly are you asking? Its sounds like your more shallow than a butter lid.

Um....yes! Why not? Being disabled does not mean a person cannot love another. It's called FEELINGS. Everyone deserves somebody to love.

Most definitely. They are the best of men to be with as they know what life is all about and also know what love actually means.

Yes of course! they are human beings. The relationship may be a little more difficult, but that can easily be overcome if the two people want to really be together.

Yeah. Being disabled doesn't mean that they aren't any less of a man. They aren't lepers!
